Practitioner: Christelle Bouvier

Personal Information

As part of providing counselling or coaching services, I will need to collect and record personal information that is relevant to your current situation. This information helps support our work together and is used for assessment and planning purposes.

Your information will be stored securely and confidentially, either digitally (password protected) or in hard copy in a locked cabinet.

Confidentiality

Everything you share with me will remain confidential unless one of the following exceptions applies:

  1. There is a serious risk to your life, health, or safety, or that of another person.

  2. You have given written or verbal consent for information to be shared — for example, with a GP or other professional.

  3. I am legally required to share information, such as by court subpoena or mandatory reporting laws.

As part of ethical practice, I receive professional supervision. Your case may be discussed with my supervisor to support your care, but identifying information will not be shared.

Fees and Cancellations

  • Sessions are 60 minutes in duration and charged at $120.00 per session, or $320.00 for a 3-session package.

  • If you need to cancel or reschedule, please provide at least 24 hours’ notice.

  • For cancellations made with less than 24 hours’ notice, a 50% cancellation fee will apply.

  • For no-shows or same-day cancellations, no refund will be issued.

  • Sessions will not proceed if you are under the influence of drugs or alcohol, and no refund will be issued.

  • All refund requests are considered thoughtfully on a case-by-case basis.

How Counselling Works

Counselling is a collaborative process where we explore your goals, challenges, and insights together. My role is to guide and support you — change happens through your willingness to engage in the process.

You may find it helpful to:

  • Reflect between sessions on what we've discussed

  • Follow through with any strategies or journaling

  • Bring up anything you feel is unresolved, confusing, or important

A respectful and honest relationship is essential. If any concerns arise, I welcome open dialogue so we can find a way forward.

Counselling Outcomes and Risks

Counselling can lead to meaningful change, but there are no guaranteed outcomes. Sometimes emotions become stronger before they become clearer. You may uncover parts of yourself that feel uncomfortable or realise you want to make life changes.

I will always work to support you safely through this process, and you are encouraged to share how you’re feeling at any time.
